Official Rules

1. Contestants can enter no more than one entry per category, max 2 categories per contestant.

2. Categories: All Baked entries must fit under one of the four category descriptions.

• Pies – Both single crust and double crust are accepted. All pies are to be the dessert variety; no meat pies!
• Cakes – All types of cakes and cupcakes are accepted in this category.
• Cookies – All cookies are accepted in this category.
• Kitchen Sink -If your dessert doesn’t fall in the categories above,it will fit in this one, everything but the kitchen sink! This category is for any type of dessert, the entire finished product must be completely edible!

3. For previous Bake-Off contestants: You must enter a different recipe from the year before. (If you can’t remember, call Krista!)

4. All recipes must be submitted by the cut off date July 9, 2023

5. All entries must be semi-homemade. Meaning you can use a box mix as a base but you must add to it, to make it your own.

• THREE finalists will be selected from each category.
• One finalist from each category will win First place prize.
• Prizes will also be given for second and third place winners.
• Fan Favorite – Your opinion matters! Vote for your favorite desserts

How do I enter?

Sign up sheet is available in the book on the Welcome Center or click here or on button below to register. Contestants are welcome to sign up until July 9,2023 Please submit your winning recipe to HoffFamilyFarm@gmail.com – Call Krista to make offer arrangements if needed.

When do I drop off my entry?

Thursday; July 20,2023 between 8am-7pm please call Krista (240) 439-0764, if you need to make other arrangements.

How will my entry be judged?

All entries must meet the requirements of the category entered. Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

• Presentation
• Consistency
• Flavor
• Creativity
