AWANA Grand Prix

14th Annual AWANA Grand Prix  –

Saturday, April 27 – 8:30-11:30am

(8:30am check-in, 9:00am race starts)

Present Gospel, Glorify God, Support Ukraine AWANA Clubs, Have Fun

Who Races: Cubbies, Sparks, T&Ters, Leaders, Parents, Clubber and Leader family members.

Who Attends: Family and Friends of the Racers and HBC Families. Each racer needs to sign up on or before April 23.

Sparks, T&Ters, Leaders, and Parents, and Clubber and Leader family members will need to purchase a pinewood derby car kit for $8 (50% of this will go towards supporting Ukraine AWANA Clubs). Cars are currently on sale at HBC on Wednesdays in room B4.  Cubbies will be racing matchbox size (matchbox, hot wheels, etc.) cars and will not have to buy a car but will need to sign up.

Refreshments will be available during the races and all donations will be used to support the Ukraine AWANA Clubs.

There is a Grand Prix car workshop scheduled for April 13, 2024, Saturday, 9am-11am at HBC gym for those who need assistance cutting and shaping their cars. Let Marc know if you need this assistance.
