Our Purpose

The Women's Ministry of Hampstead Baptist Church exists to equip women to mature in Christ; fellowship with one another; serve through our church; share Jesus with family, friends and others; and be involved in missions, locally and around the world.

S.E.E.K.

"Special Events Enhancing the Kingdom" organizes approximately four events per year.  The purpose of these events is spiritual motivation and evangelism.  Selected themes are used to give the meetings content and direction that will spiritually benefit women.

Women's Bible Study Groups

Bible studies are offered in the fall, spring and summer. The fall and spring studies are offered on Tuesday evenings and on Thursday mornings.  The summer session is shorter and is taught on Thursday evenings. A variety of studies are used to communicate the Word of God.

M.O.M.

"Mothers Outreach Ministry" ministers to expectant mothers through prayer, sending cards, making phone calls, and through other practical means.  Luncheons are held twice a year following the Parent/Child Dedication Service.

Women On Mission

This ministry gives many opportunities for involvement.  It challenges women to become involved in mission work and to support our missionaries through prayer and meeting their needs.  "Women On Mission" also seeks to involve children in mission activities.  It supports the International Mission Board (IMB) and the North American Mission Board (NAMB) by giving to special offerings throughout the year.  "Women on Mission" maintains the church's focus of local and world missions.
