The primary focus and purpose of our worship services is to worship God, exalt the name of Jesus Christ, and enter into the presence of the Holy Spirit. This, in turn, will glorify God, while encouraging those present to either draw closer to the Savior, or to seek Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Music is a vital part of each of our worship services. |
The adult drama team gives those who do not feel that they are musically-inclined an opportunity to participate in outreach through seasonal programs. Rehearsals are coordinated by specific event. |

Celebration Choir
The Celebration Choir ministers each Sunday in both morning worship services, as well as through seasonal programs and special event services. We invite new members at any time throughout the year. Rehearsals are each Tuesday evening, 7:00-9:00pm. Seasonal programs require some "bonus" rehearsals. |
The sign language choir is a unique and beautiful way of worshipping through an assortment of songs and activities within the various services and programs. Rehearsals are coordinated by specific event. |

Our younger children’s choir, called The SonBeams, is for children age 4 through first grade. The songs the children learn not only allow them to have fun but also give them an opportunity to experience worship Jesus on their age level.
Our older children’s choir, called Glory Bound, is for children grades 2-6. They learn songs that allow them to go deeper into knowing what it means to have a growing relationship with Jesus. Glory Bound also occasionally has the opportunity to sing along side the Celebration Choir at special event services.
Both children’s choirs sing periodically in Sunday evening services. They meet during the church year from September to June. Rehearsals are on Sunday evenings from 6:00-6:50 p.m. |
There are several special services throughout the year at HBC:

Special/Instrumental Music
There are various opportunities to assist in leading in worship through vocal solo, duet, ensemble, and instrumental ministry. This selected list is compiled by the Minister of Music on a quarterly basis. The majority of the vocal participants come exclusively from the Celebration Choir with the few exceptions being approved by the Minister of Music on a case by case basis. |
Audio-Visual
The audio-visual ministry at HBC allows several different people the opportunity to be directly involved with all the various services:

Our Easter and Christmas programs are very special times at HBC. Each program is open to everyone. They enable each person present a focused opportunity to experience the love, mercy, and compassion of Jesus Christ through music and drama. |
